3D Printing

Quick and reliable 3D printing services. What sets us apart is our commitment to preparing your files for printing. We don’t just load a file and hit go, we work with you to attain the quality of print you need.

  • FDM Printing

    • Common 3D printing method using stacked layers of melted materials to build 3D objects.

    • Dozens of materials in endless color options to choose from. We can help you decide the best material for your project if you need.

    • Good for: functional prints, quick prototypes, toys, and much more.

  • SLA printing

    • Liquid resin that’s selectively cured by UV light layer by layer.

    • Incredible detail- layers as thin as 0.05mm.

    • Limited but unique material choices compared to FDM and much smaller bed sizes available.

    • Good for: models***, small nylon-like gears

***Varia does not specialize in producing tabletop miniatures. We will always assess any files if we are asked, but mini printing is a specialized process that we don’t often excel in.

Laser Cutting/Engraving

We have a variety of lasers to meet almost any need.

  • Our 2kw fiber laser can cut through up to 10ga stainless steel or aluminum, 3/8” carbon steel, and various other metals. A 4’x4’ cutting bed means your large projects are no problem.

  • Almost any material is customizable with extremely detailed engraving on our galvo driven laser. Perfect for gifts, trinkets, or permanent identification of anything that fits under the beam.

  • Ask about deep engravings for unique 2.5D surface effects on select materials!

2D/3D CAD and 3D Scanning

Have a part you need replicated or an idea for a prototype that needs form? We can help.

  • 2D and 3D CAD design

    • Simple to intermediate complexity items with quick turnaround. Simple designs are often finished within a couple of days. Easily combine this service with our 3D printing or laser cutting for media optimized design.

  • 3D scanning

    • Get your part replicated in a 3D mesh file for printing, archiving, digital modification, or to take to other CNC manufacturing.
